Located in Kleinburg, Ontario, this private residence underwent a complete remodel to transform its 5000 square feet of living space into a contemporary masterpiece. The clients wanted a fresh new look for their home, so a new floor plan was created to make the most of the space. The kitchen was completely remodeled with high-end cabinetry from Skona Design, featuring a combination of matte MDF and wood-textured melamine.

All bathrooms in the home were also renovated to match the modern aesthetic, with heated floors adding a touch of luxury. One unique feature of the design is a custom giant wallpaper mural of the clients’ two dogs, incorporating their love for their pets into the space. A dog washing station was also included to make caring for their furry friends a breeze.

Throughout the home, custom items can be found, from the entrance storage/shelf/mirror unit to the media/storage in the family room. The kitchen boasts custom features such as a cabinet for the coffee machine with a sliding shelf, a walk-in pantry with a hidden door, and a cabinet for the Thermomix machine. The countertops are made of quartz, adding durability and style to the space.

In the basement, a home spa with a Hammam and relaxing zone was added, along with an entertaining area featuring a bar and projector screen. Skilled tradesmen completed the renovation, ensuring a high-quality finish. Furniture, lighting, and accessories were sourced from favorite stores such as Palazetti, Home Societe, Casa Di Luce, and Prima Lighting.

The main challenge of the project was working within the specific architecture of the home, which required some restrictions on the planning process. Despite the challenges, the project was ultimately rewarding, resulting in a stunning and functional space that perfectly reflects the clients’ style and needs.
