This 4000 square feet private residence needed a bathroom renovation, but this project was no ordinary renovation – it was a surprise for the client’s husband’s 60th birthday! Keeping the project a secret and completing it in just two weeks while the clients were away was a challenge, but with proper planning and a great team, we made it happen.

The key to the success of this project was meticulous planning and attention to detail. We completely changed the layout of the bathroom to make it look more spacious and functional. The shower was expanded to feature a shampoo niche and a custom bench, adding both style and convenience to the space. A 9-foot custom painted MDF vanity with reeded details, made by Skona Design, serves as the focal point of the room, offering ample storage and elegance.

Every detail in this bathroom was carefully considered, from the door knobs to the faucets, wall sconces, and mirrors. The tiles have a subtle pattern that mimics natural stone, adding texture and interest without overwhelming the room. The countertop complements the tile and vanity color, creating a cohesive and harmonious look.

Despite the tight timeline and the need for secrecy, we managed to complete the project on time, much to the delight of the clients. The end result is a stunning and luxurious bathroom that exceeded their expectations and brought joy to the client’s husband on his milestone birthday.
